When I did this San Francisco newborn session, everything was still “normal”. Everyone was living life with relatively little worry. Now, life looks different, with Stay Home Health Orders and the world facing a modern pandemic. Through all of this, my goal has been to stay positive but real, and to keep life as secure for my girls as possible. And staying safe, of course. For photographers, it has even been a bit difficult to share these happy photo shoots! Some people feel they’re trivial or unimportant. However, I am so thrilled to share this sweet newborn’s photos, taken at her family’s home in San Francisco. I think we all need to see that life – new life! – carries on, and that there are such important reasons for us to make it through this together.

Big brother was so excited and expressive – just look at his face! And it’s pretty perfect, right now, to share a session at home, right?

Mom and dad were thrilled with their new little love. As much as things may not feel the best for many of us at this time, it’s important to recognize the magic still happening all around us!
