I was referred to this family by a another lovely San Francisco family with a baby about the same age as baby Jack. Dad greeted me at the door and said that Jack was ready but a little shy. I love interacting with the shy ones. I come in very softly and gently. Oh my gosh, when I peeked in and saw Jack, he was sitting up right in the middle of mom and dads bed. Mom was very close and he was in his comfy spot, so he was totally chill. He warmed up and smiled right away! He was in the perfect spot so I started photographing right away. Mom and dad were loving all of the smiles and cute expressions Jack was giving us! Dad saw one of the photos on the back of the camera and was blown away! We moved from their adorable apartment to my favorite view of San Francisco from Potrero Hill.

Dad was so moved by the final delivery of the photos that he send me this, “Hi Emily – wow. We are utterly blown away by these. Very emotional in fact!  Thank you for capturing Jack and our family so unbelievably perfectly. We’ll treasure these forever. ”
