I love when all of the preparation and conversation before the newborn portrait makes the session run seamlessly! Mom and I exchanged many emails regarding style, ideas and how to prepare for the session. Emanuelle arrived to my Potrero Hill studio asleep and ready to rock every set up we had ready for her! I started with her wrapped in a swaddle and in a basket. She couldn’t STOP giving me adorable smiles! I was so happy! Mom really wanted some amazing photographs with dad and Emanuelle so I made sure to do those right away while she was still asleep. Little miss E graced us with all sorts of bodily fluids and I was thankful for my easy-clean floors. Dad’s shoes however…

We did some beautiful family photos and then moved to some of sweet Emanuelle all on white. I love the simplicity and sweetness of these photos.

Mom beamed, “These are fantastic, thank you, Emily! We love them.”
