Welcome to the world baby August. I drove over to my clients’ home in San Francisco for this sweet newborn photography session. They have such a beautiful family and I was excited to capture August for them. This session was dripping with gorgeous natural light and I adore how it just streamed in plentifully through their bedroom window! Big sister definitely had her priorities and taking these photographs was not one of them! I am grateful, however, that you would NEVER know that from these photos. We got her laughing and having a great time with mom and dad + baby August and ended up with some beautiful moments. I think it’s special when small details, like taking portraits in mom and dad’s room serve to personalize the images and add meaning. I couldn’t decide if I liked the b + w or color images most, so here are some favorites of both!
