Miss Ann contacted me regarding her two very special events.  Ann and Fletcher had planned to have their ceremony on an already special day, their anniversary, at a meaningful location, Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles. Ann is a huge science fan and they loved the idea that they could “shout it from the top of a mountain”!

The whole story is so cute, I can’t even stand it. Ann and Fletcher are both fantastic singers (Sadly, I did not get to hear Ann..) and were very busy with tons of Christmas Carol gigs right before and after their ceremony. They got this one day to really experience and express their love. We started at their house with the cutest pup, Linus! Even though they got ready in the same house, we had a sort of “meeting” so that Fletcher could see Ann in her dress for the first time. There were tears from everyone, even me.

We hopped in the car for a mini-LA tour for some fabulous wedding portraits. We stopped near Ventura Blvd for some brick and street scenes, went to Old Town Pasadena for some sassy vintage style photos of Ann and some cool portraits of Fletcher. We chatted along the way about how they met and fell in love. It was very special.

The ceremony at the Observatory was incredibly unique. Here they were with 6 close friends with the Hollywood sign behind them and the entire city below them. Tourists walked right up to the ceremony and took their own snapshots! There was a very emotional exchange of vows and words from friends and then a celebratory kiss! I had them pose inside the observatory as Ann knew all of the exhibits!

One month later, Ann and Fletcher brought on the party! The festivities took place at Vinoteque on Melrose Ave, a cute European style courtyard with a wine-cellar style restaurant. The guests were greeted with Champagne and yummy snacks. Emotional and heartfelt toasts were given by family members and Fletcher. It was so special to see the love and support. Fletcher sang Ann a song that melted everyone’s heart and brought tears to her eyes. This couple could not have had a party without music and dancing! Everyone joined in dancing (and, of course, sang along!)

I loved sharing these special days with this lovely couple and I am so honored to have captured it all for them to enjoy forever! Ann wrote me this in an email, ”
