I left my heart… | San Francisco Family Portrait Photographer

A client recently came back to me and was interested in family portraits at an iconic San Francisco location. She was moving her entire family to the east coast to be closer to extended family, but was definitely sad to go. She had started her family here and wanted to be sure to have something to remember this beginning. We headed to Baker Beach on a fantastically sunny Saturday afternoon. Usually, I can count on fog, but lately nothing is predictable! The girls (18 months and 3 years) had a great time running on the beach and the littlest headed straight for the water! Of course! At this stage, photography is more of a chasing game then anything! They threw rocks in the water, dug their toes in the sand and giggled and laughed as the cold water pooled around their feet.

Mom and dad did most of the chasing and ended up a little wet too! Thankfully, it was warm enough to be somewhat enjoyable! I really wanted to fabulous family portrait of them in front of the bridge to truly capture everything they wanted. It worked out in the form of the family walking together close to the water. I am so happy with the photographs and am so honored to have been chosen to capture these memories for the family.

Mom said, “Thank you so much for the photographs. They are incredible! You managed to capture the essence of both girls, which is no easy task. We are very happy with them, and happy to share ;)”
