A previous client of mine called me a few weeks ago to see if I would be able to a photography session with her mother, herself, her daughter and her newborn son.

There was urgency in the matter as her mother was battling cancer and it was not looking good. I made sure that they got in to the studio as soon as possible. We had a fabulous shoot with lots of laughter and smiles! Grandmother held the newborn and loved and squeezed her little granddaughter. She was absolutely stunning, vibrant and beautiful. The shoot happened to be on the grandmothers birthday. I thought it was a lovely gift for her to celebrate and capture her family on her birthday.

A few photos were ordered in a rush for Mothers day to give to the grandmother on another special day. The photos arrived on Saturday before mothers day.  She passed away this morning.
I am very saddened to think about their loss and it has been very hard to deal with today.
I am so thankful that I was able to document her beauty and her love for her family. My thoughts are with her family.
